Get to moving!

I’ve lived in Texas since 2011 & I don’t ever remember spring lasting this long. I know that summer weather is just around the corner (I see 100s already this week), which leaves most of us indoors.
I want to encourage you to get outside and move your body. It doesn’t have to be big & fancy or perfect looking. Take the kiddos outside and go on a nature hunt, make an obstacle course, plant a mini garden, the ideas are endless!



The morning is the best time before the heat of the day strikes and the humidity settles in. It’s a great way to kick off your day and gives you the energy you need to tackle more in your day.

I know that it’s nicer indoors and there’s plenty of fun to be had in the AC but you have to keep our bodies moving.

I am not a small girl by any means and I’m not in my 20’s anymore so my bones are snap, crackling, and popping. I am sore most days and I could take a nap but you know what? On the days that I get out there and walk, my mental state is better which leads to other areas in my day are better. I am able to tackle more in my day because I’ve already jump-started my body.

Let’s go our future selves a favor and get out there and move it! Start small and gradually add more. Or stay small. It doesn’t matter. A body in motion stays in motion. The fresh air + Vitamin C feels so good!

Grab your kiddos and\or a friend.
Get your blood pumping & endorphins flowing.
