Saturday, May 13: Plant a Flower For Mom at Smith’s Gardentown Farms

Saturday, May 13th, beginning at 10 a.m. Children ages 3-11 will be able to plant a flower and decorate a 4 Inch Clay Pot for Mom or Grandma! This is limited to the first 200 children and the limit is two Flower Pots per family. There is no cost for this event.

Thursday, May 11: Live at the Lake Concert

Join us for the first concert for the Live at the Lake series! It’s a FREE, public, family friendly event that has vendors, fun things to do and live Music! We will be selling coffees, teas and drinks for the kids along with some snacks! See you there!!

Thursday, May 11: After School Fishing at South Weeks Pond

Tuesdays & Thursdays; May 9, May 11, May 16, May 18 at South Weeks Pond for ages 5-16 (11 & Under must be accompanied by an adult).
The prices is $3 for first child; $2 for each additional child in same household. Instructor: Texas Parks & Wildlife Staff

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will conduct an After School Fishing series for all area youth interested. All fishing equipment, bait and supervision will be provided. Kids need only to show up and be prepared to have a good time. Participants will receive personalized and expert instruction on common fishing techniques. Fish, of legal size, can be taken home (if parents approve).  All participants should bring a bucket for “take home” fish, a drink, a hat and sunscreen.  For additional information, call (940) 761-7490 or visit the W.F. Saturday, May 13: Mom Fest at Johnson’s Furniture & Mattress

Join us for our first-ever Mom Fest! Mom Fest is a FREE event for the whole family! FREE chair massages for mom, fabulous food, and of course, furniture and mattress specials! PLUS, we will announce the winner of our North Texas Mom of the Year Contest! Celebrate Mom with a fun, family-friendly, FREE event!

Saturday, May 13: Mommy & Me Breakfast at Chick Fil A

We want to appreciate our all of our hard-working Mothers in the community by treating you to breakfast ON US! Stop in to our dining room anytime on Saturday, May 13th between 6:30AM and 10:30AM to recieve free breakfast. Offer not valid in Drive-Thru. (One per guest. Valid only at Chick-fil-A of Wichita Falls. Dine-In only.)

Saturday: May 13: Cajun Fest

Downtown Wichita Falls Development and the Elks Lodge #1105 once again put a Texoma twist on the 10th annual Cajun Fest taking place Saturday, May 13th in downtown Wichita Falls.

Gates open at noon and the event will last until 10pm! Grab your family and friends, find your old Mardi Gras beads, search for your craziest hats and Cajun attire, and then head downtown to shop, eat, play and dance!

Saturday, May 13: Slobberfest at the Humane Society of Wichita County

If you are looking for something fun to do this afternoon, come out to Slobberfest! We will have faceWe will have music, face painting, hotdogs, bounce house and a puppy kissing booth. We are starting this year at 10-2 and hoping to start the races at 11:30!  The event is free to get in, a few activities will cost but not very much at all!

The event is at the Humane Society of Wichita County at 4360 old Iowa park road from 11-2!
