    1. Balance is so hard! It’s definitely something I struggle with and try to write about honestly. I have some decent tips how we discipline with calm and patience (as much as possible). Thanks for the idea!

  1. I’d like to see things to do with toddlers locally that are aimed at working parents (M-F, office hours, type parents). I always see the coolest things to do with my son but it’s typically scheduled during a work day for me.

    1. I have the EXACT same problem! Two year old, and I work full time. I post a schedule of weekly events every Monday, but you’re right – a lot are during the work day. I tend to try to focus more on weekend events for that reason. For example, there’s a TON happening this weekend: http://texomawithkids.com/this-weeks-event-highlights-april-9-15/

River Bend Nature Center has some great programs that are usually on Saturdays. Love them for that!

      Hope that helps! 🙂

    1. Haha! I have an extremely picky eater, but “healthy” is a moving target for us too. GREAT topic idea though – thank you!! 🙂

  2. I’d like to see a blog post with a central location to find information about all things going on in Wichita Falls! I know there are tons of things to do but most are pretty poorly advertised unless you keep track of all the businesses/entertainment venues/non-profits separately.

    1. I like this idea! We’re in the process of working towards this. We post a weekly events post every Monday, and I try to add family-friendly events any time I see them to our Facebook page events section. We also have a calendar on this blog, but there’s not a ton on there right now (that’s our next project!) Thank you for reading!!! 🙂 🙂

  3. Would like to see a blog about self/kids balance. We often idealize the all-giving mother, but that can only go so far before you have to “refill.” How to do that, but you still have to give all you can to the littles.

  4. I would a post about when to pick your battles with your kids. How to not give into everything they want but how to pick the right times to say yes and no.

    1. LOVE this topic idea. Gonna shoot it by our guest blogger Laura Ritchie, since she is a licensed child therapist, and has two littles who are older than mine. I feel like she’ll have some really good insight. Thanks for sharing!!! 🙂 🙂

    1. Also a great idea!! I know we’re working on a list of summer programs/local camps right now, but I think we could compile one of those too! Thanks for sharing your ideas! 🙂

    1. To be honest, this is something I don’t know a lot about, but DEFINITELY a great idea to share. Will start researching 😉 Thanks for the idea!!

  5. My 10 year daughter would be super excited to see the show! Never seen anything like this before and we think it would be awesome!!!!

  6. Honestly I’m not big on reading blogs, but I do love the fact that you always keep everyone up to date on events! Any time I have extra money I go to your Facebook or this site to find something our family can enjoy together. Thanks for the opportunity to be chosen regardless if I win (doubt I will lol) but never hurts to try right?…

    1. ONIT girl! Haha. I have a super picky eater myself. While I haven’t had a ton of triumphs with “healthy,” I will ask my fellow bloggers to weigh in! Thanks for the idea! 🙂

  7. Wow… I truly did not know all of what you do! I am Gigi to 2 grandkids! 7 year old Emma & 6 year old Ryder! Even if we don’t win I want to go!

    1. Thank you so much! And YES – that’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about our new guest bloggers – new experiences and perspectives. Lauren Bush has a two and a 12 year old – she’s going to be sharing her thoughts on the tween years for sure! Stay tuned and thank you for the great idea! 🙂 🙂

    1. Thank you for the great idea!! And this is why I’m so excited to have such amazing guest bloggers on board – Laura Ritchie is a licensed child psychologist and Lauren Bush is a mom to a 12 year old. They will definitely have some great insight to share! (I’m not quite there yet with my 2 year old! 😉 )

  8. I would love to hear more about kid/family friendly vacation spots and of course I love that you keep us up to date on local events.

    1. Thank you, Andrea!! Vacations is a great idea!!! Definitely one we will start working on before summer!! 🙂

  9. I would love to see something about any events or maybe a blog about programs in our area for kids or adults with autism since it is Autism awareness month. We have a 14 year old with autism and I know when he was little we were always looking for events and programs to get more education. Thank you for your blog I love reading them!

    1. GREAT idea. To be honest, I’m not familiar with a ton of resources, but if you are, I will definitely add them. Will you email me at texomawithkids@texomacu.com if you have ideas? I will also do some research. We posted about the Color Run & Walk for Autism this weekend, but I know there is SO much more out there we could be talking about!

      Color Run info: http://texomawithkids.com/this-weeks-event-highlights-april-9-15/

      Thank you for sharing!! 🙂

  10. Healthy eating recipes for a family with kids. Maybe also healthy vitamin options for kids. I’ve also heard that elderberry syrup is very healthy for adults and children. Maybe some facts and tips about this.
