Tuesday, September 4: Elementary Art Class at The Kemp (4-5 pm)

Every Tuesday Afternoon: This class is specially structured for younger elementary age students (5-9 years), with fun and educational activities that will develop skills, interest in and awareness of a wide range of art. Students have the opportunity to explore drawing, painting, sculpting, and glass art. Please note: this class is registered BY THE MONTH.

Join us downtown for the September After Hours Art Walk! Scale “new heights” as we do some process art and learn about gravity! If you’re afraid of heights, join us anyway! 😉

…Community Keys

The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture is pleased to introduce Community Keys! Stop by Park Central at 8th and Scott at the next After Hours Artwalk on September 6th and share your artistic talents with the community.

A piano, which was graciously donated by Flat 41 Music and painted by local artists, will be available for the public to enjoy. Tickle the ivories, start a sing-along, connect with your community, and spent time together. This is your invitation to take a chance, be playful, express yourself, and make memories!

Friday, September 7: Zumbathon Under the Stars Dos (8 pm – midnight)

Zumba Under the Star Dos! $10 donation at the gate for just Zumabthon or $20 for Zumbathon and a Limited Edition T-Shirt!!

100% of the proceeds will goes towards the Zavala International Dance group dancers to purchase more dresses so that they can perform for our community. All instructors, directors, supporters are volunteers. They donate all their time and resources to teach, educate, mentor, and pass this art to our new generation of leaders.

Saturday, September 8: 2nd Dog Days of Summer at Castaway Cove (10 am – 2 pm)

Bring your dog out to Castaway Cove for a fun time! All dogs must be spayed/neutered and current on Rabies vaccinations and city licenses (if you reside in Wichita Falls).  It is also encouraged that all participants are also current on their distemper/parvo vaccinations per their veterinarian’s recommendations.

No slides will be open. This event is geared to our 4 legged friends fun and safety! Price: $15 admits 1 dog and 1 human. Each additional immediate family members are only $5! Season passes not valid for this event.

Proceeds to benefit the Wichita County Animal Services.

Saturday, September 8: Stroll ‘n Roll (10 am – 4 pm)

Become a tourist in your own town and enjoy a FREE day of touring Wichita Falls Museums and Attractions.

Free shuttle transportation will be provided to all locations, including MSU and the Wichita Falls Regional Airport. Free parking is available at the Wichita Falls Public Library where the Fallstown Trolley and Shuttles will pick up and drop off. Participants are also welcome to take private transportation to the participating Stroll ‘n Roll attractions.
