This Summer, Choose Adventure.
School is OUT for summer! Typing that… Alice Cooper is singing out in my head. And like many parents, I have been mulling over what type of care my child should have while I am working. And I worry more about his experiences. I want my future Kindergartener’s mind to stay sharp, social skills continually growing, and most of all he needs to have fun this summer. No latchkey kids at our house this summer. (He has never been. Oaklee is only five.)
When looking for summer activities for children, parents today are faced with an incredible wealth of options. In the Wichita Falls, TX area there are numerous summer activities, day-camps, and cool (pun intended) attractions.
This summer sign your child up for adventure. Day camps like the Wichita Christian Summer Adventure provide structured educational activities to keep minds sharp during the summer months; along with plenty of time for fun, free play and field trips.
Oaklee’s favorite part of summer day camps is the hands-on experiences as well as the field trips!
On the weekends and staycation days we have plans to visit the Artzeum, go fishing at Lake Arrowhead, float in Castaway Cove’s lazy river, jam out at the summer outdoor concert series, enjoy movies in the park, and so much more!
