Recipe: Skinny Peppermint Mocha Starbucks Hack

Starbuck’s Skinny Peppermint Mocha is not just my favorite holiday drink, but my favorite coffee drink period. I have been known to order it year-round, but for about the last two years or so, they discontinued the sugar-free peppermint syrup, which really increased the sugar and calorie count.
SO, I finally came up with a suitable hack at home that is barely any carbs, 0 sugar, and a real money-saver. The recipe is not exact – just mix to taste and come up with your own, but generally guidelines:
- 2 shots espresso (thanks to my amazing Nespresso machine which was the best investment I’ve ever made)
- 1 cup steamed milk
- 2 spoonfuls Hershey’s cocoa powder
- 1.5 packets of Stevia OR 2 pumps Starbuck’s sugar-free vanilla syrup
- 5-7 drops peppermint extract
