The Purge Week 2: Bedrooms
Here we are! Week two. Many of you completed week one’s office challenge. If you didn’t complete it yet, you have till the end of week eight to catch up! Week two’s challenge brings us to bedrooms. Your bedroom, to be specific. But this week I have a confession.
I didn’t even finish my entire bedroom.
I only did my dresser.
Why is that, you ask?
I could say it’s because I have a bunch of kids.
I could say it’s because I have an eight week old nursling who is incredibly demanding.
And while both of those of things are true, they’re really just excuses. I know that really, I had plenty of time to get it done; I just didn’t. I didn’t make it a priority. This, my dear friends, is why we need–why *I* need–to be doing this. I need accountability. I need to know that someone is waiting for me to post pictures of my clean room on the interwebs for all to see, because it means that I have to get SOMETHING accomplished.
Week two. My bedroom…er, dresser. My chest is still kinda cluttered, as you’ll notice. If you also happen to notice the empty picture frames haphazardly tossed on my wall, ignore them. I’m incredibly indecisive and have to stare at them for a month before I can commit to where their forever home should be.
Before. Remember how last week I said I’m guilty of just moving things from one place to another instead of putting them away? Guess why those books are on my dresser…
So there you have it. Week two! I hope that this encourages you to get started, and also serves to remind you that sometimes, getting something done is better than nothing at all. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Shhh. Don’t ruin it for me.
