Financial Peace for Teens
I’ll be the first to admit it. Right out of college and into my first job, I developed some bad spending habits. I relied too heavily on student loans (my husband went on to law school so they were still available to us), I used credit cards like they were free money, and an “emergency” purchase to me meant cute shoes on sale, or sushi dinner before payday.
Fast forward 10 years, and I’m still recovering from the mistakes and naivety of my youth. (Aren’t we all in one way or another?)
Then I took Financial Peace University in 2016 with my husband and it was a GAME CHANGER, and something I desperately wished I had done sooner. It gave me a method for breaking out of the credit card and debt cycle. It gave me hope for my future.
All this to say – I can’t even imagine how much it good it would have done me as a teenager.
Well, that’s now an option for teens in the greater Texoma area.
The classes are free to anyone in the community (with a $50 fully-refundable deposit) include catered dinner each class, and last nine weeks starting February 12.
If you have a teenager at home, I highly recommend this class!! I know they still have about half their spots available, so if you’re interested, check out all the details here: Financial Peace For Teens
