Rural Texas is recovering their tourism market faster than any other since the onset of Covid. Seymour has several locations ready for you and your family to enjoy, take pictures, and make some memories.
Since their grand re-opening on June 2nd, the Whiteside Museum of Natural History has had 1000 visitors in just a few short weeks. With new exhibits and interactive elements, you must come experience the museum with the whole family!

For the past two months the museum exhibits have had a major facelift. For guests with interest in private museum tours with the museum open only for that purpose, please send a request which you can submit at wmnh.org or call us at (940) 889 – 6548.

Enjoy the outdoors after your Museum tour at the Seymour Sound Garden. Recent landscaping upgrades make this fun park even more interactive, but the shining star has to be the musical equipment. Always in tune and ready for you, the Free Notes Harmony Park music equipment featured in the sound garden is fun for all ages. Enjoy our shaded picnic table areas as well and experience the beautiful plants and flowers throughout! Free admission at all times.
We know you took lots of pictures while at the Whiteside Museum, but there are more to be had outside along there walls. So make sure you cower under the hungry T-Rex and give our grumpy gopher a kiss before you go!
